1969 DODGE CHARGER R/T 426 HEMI AUTOMATIC
"CLICK ON A PICTURE"
This beautiful black on black HEMI Charger R/T came to me as a complete driving car. The car had an older restoration on one of the most solid original cars that I have seen.
The HEMI was sent to FHO for freshening up while the body is at HYLAND'S ON PARK to make the black paint flawless.
In the mean time, I'm restoring the components and will be doing the complete reassembly in January 2013.
Time to start assembling the sub components. Up first is the grill. The car will assemble a lot quicker with all the sub components like this done on the bench.
Hoping to get the painted car back in January.
The taillights are finished, and on to the dash. The owner searched for an original pad with no luck so he chose to go with "JUST DASHES"...I'm not overly impressed, it looks a little over inflated to me.
Other then that the dash assembly turned out great!
Okay...After almost a year of sitting idol, and the unexpected collapse of "Hyland's on Park"....I now bring you a brand new chapter in this Hemi Charger's life.

After lots of research and some careful consideration the owner of this car has chosen a new body shop, more then capable of applying flawless jet black paint.
Blaine Schmidt and his incredible crew of experts at Boot Hill Automotive Resurrection in Erin Onataio have taken on the job of making this car....BACK IN BLACK
Won't be long now !
Even the smallest details make all the difference in the world. All NOS emblems installed....sweet !
With the car back at my shop with the mile deep flawless black paint....I'm almost to afraid to work on it....but don't worry...It' will be rumbling again soon.
Most of the interior wrapped up, won't be long until the Elephant appears !
With the engine painted and detailed, it doesn't take long to assemble it for installation. I like to do everything outside the car then just simply roll it under and install as one unit. Then just hook up the hoses and wires and you're set to go.

Check out that 3" TTI exhaust....This thing sounds mean.
All done !
