1969 Dodge Super Bee 383 4spd
This turquoise and white beauty is coming to me soon for a full restoration. Right now I've started the components with the front suspension being up first.
The guys at Dick's Transmission's did a great job of installing a new sure grip 3:55 gear set. Now I can finish off the rear end.

Most of the small components will be done long before the car gets sent off to paint !
The guys at Dick's Transmission's did a great job of rebuilding the number matching transmission as well !

I detailed like original, reconditioned the shifter and rods, and we're all set to go !
After having the original grill and tail panel re-anodized at THE PLATING HOUSE in Concorde, I painstakingly repainted the black and silver. Parts look brand new again !
Okay, it's Spring time, time to get this project moving !
The shell has had the metal work done years ago but will need to be stripped again and put into epoxy primer before it can go to the paint shop. I started by grinding down the 400+ welds that attach the new panels, then it's off to blasting.
Off to Eramosa Autobody for some blasting and a fresh coat of epoxy primer.
Okay, body is stripped, epoxy primed. Seam sealer is done, time to ship it off to Waterdown Collision so they can work some Q5 MAGIC !
The work has begun...
Waterdown Collision is working hard at removing all the imperfections before the new paint goes on.

Meanwhile Keith Sim reconstructed the entire inside bottom lip of the door.
After countless hours of block sanding, Waterdown is finally laying down several coats of the beautiful Q5 turquoise paint !
Waterdown Collision working feverishly to get this BEE arrow straight !
Every panel, inside and out, blocked to perfection.
With the body, looking beautiful, and back at my shop, now comes the fun part. The re-assembly !
More sound deadener, and I can start assembling both sides of the firewall !
Continuing along with the exterior trim and the fuel system.
After 70 sq/ft of sound deadener, it's time to start finishing the interior.
Moving right along. Glass all in, interior just about done, couldn't wait to get that bright white stripe on !!!
Just about finished, waiting on the freshly rebuilt 383 motor !
Unfortunately, the customer supplied engine is taking a lot longer then I'd hoped, so this car is being moved off to storage until I can get back at it in the Spring time.

Stay Tuned !
Spring has SPRUNG and the 383 has arrived....this puppy turned 506 hp on the dyno...you would never know !
Pre-assembly done...
The owner is going to put in all the fluids and get the car running for the first time in many many years....So....My work is done here, another happy customer !
